Join me over on YouTube for a live chat on Tuesday, February 18! I’m joining Kay from Happy Trails Hiking to compare our experiences in Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park. I can’t wait to chat about the similarities and differences of our experiences in these two popular national parks!
If you have visited Yellowstone or Grand Teton (or if you want to visit these places), please tune in.
Last summer, my family went on an amazing 16-day road trip to Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park (and beyond). It was the trip of a lifetime!

Upon returning home, I was so excited to share about our travels with Minivan Adventures’ readers. One of the first things I did was share a picture of the Teton Mountains perfectly framed in our minivan’s sideview mirror with the question, “can you guess where we were?”
Imagine my delight when my friend, Kay from Happy Trails Hiking, commented with a similar picture of her own saying that she had just returned from there as well! Isn’t it funny what a small world it is???
Since then, we have had so much fun comparing our various experiences at Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park.
In fact, we have enjoyed the conversation so much that we have decided to take it online for a live chat on YouTube!
Please join in on the discussion during the live show on Tuesday, February 18 at 11AM EST/10AM CST!

Please mark your calendar, set a reminder and be sure to tune in to the Happy Trails Hiking Youtube Channel on Tuesday, February 18 (or watch the replay if you can’t join us for the live chat).
Assuming that we don’t get stuck on any one topic for too terribly long, we plan to discuss:
- Favorite stops in both national parks (hikes, lakes, waterfalls, hot springs, geysers, wildlife)
- Helpful park tips
- Where to stay overnight
- Where to eat
It is also worth noting that we will be sharing multiple travel perspectives. Kay traveled there with her husband as a couple; I traveled there with my husband and three children as a family. So it should be extra interesting to discuss the similarities and differences of our experiences!
